MMS PTSO Update
The MMS PTSO met on January 12th, here are the minutes from the meeting.
Our next PTSO meeting is scheduled for Wednesday,February 2nd at 8am. We will send out the virtual link to the meeting the night before. We hope to see you at the meeting!
MMS is extremely grateful that our PTSO sponsored our Semester Recognition Program. Students enjoyed doughnuts, pizza, and fellowship with friends while being recognized for their academic achievements.
White Water Rafting Trip
All students are invited to attend. The total cost of the trip is $85 and can be paid in two installments. Installment one is due Jan 28. More information can be found on the permission slip below.

We want to thank the VMMS parents and students for their patience and hard work during testing this week. The teachers enjoyed seeing the students in our classroom. We appreciate the parents who dropped off and picked up their child during testing.
The VMMS teachers would like to recognize a student in each grade level who has shown the Heart of a Red Imp in all of their classes for the week of January 24-28th.

During one class session the week of January 31st, the MMS ELA department will facilitate the following MAWI lessons:
7th Grade: MAWI Lesson #11- Open Your Conversations
8th Grade: MAWI Lesson #11- Taking a Different Approach
MMS is using the MAWI program to facilitate social and emotional lessons that are designed to help students build life-long coping skills.
