Book Fair Info for Parents
This week all students will have the chance to visit the book fair with their class and create a wish list before they shop with their class later in the week. Students will bring their wish lists home to review with their caregivers. Caregivers can provide cash or create an eWallet for their child to use at the fair. Online shopping is also an option for students and families who are not able to make it to the fair for whatever reason. Visit our Book Fair homepage to learn more and get started with eWallet and online shopping: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/jlmulreadyschool
Parent teacher conferences will be held on Wednesday and Thursday and shopping will be available during these hours with extended evening hours on Thursday until 7pm. There will be a G.R.A.N.D. KINDERGARTEN FOOD DRIVE
Dear Mulready Families,
We visited the Food Pantry. We were detectives, and we looked at the empty shelves to see what kind of things the Hudson Food Pantry needed. We made a list of the items to donate. This is what the Food Pantry needs:
*Items that are in low supply or completely out. Please consider purchasing these items.
Will you help us to help people in need? Please send any items to school between March 23rd and April 5th. Our school-wide goal is to collect at least 1,000 items. If we do, we will earn a school-wide Pajama Day.
Thank you,
The Mulready Kindergarteners
PADDINGTON LOVED HIS VISIT TO MULREADY
We concluded our book group on Friday, March 24, 2023 when we gathered together to watch the Paddington movie. Mrs. Chandonnet, Mrs. McGowan, Mrs.Fisher and Mrs. Usen would like to thank the Mulready Home and School for providing guests with iced tea, shortbread cookies and marmalade to snack on while they watched the movie. They would also like to thank all of the Mulready families for taking the time at home to share this reading experience with their children. MULREADY'S MARCH MATHNESS
For the past three weeks, the students at Mulready have been showing their grit and determination. They were given a goal of completing 75,000 correct math facts, and, not only did they make that goal, they surpassed it with 126,979 correct facts!!!
All the K – 4th grade students participated, and were very excited about it. When it was over, some the students said they felt more confident with math, and that they enjoyed the challenge.
Each student received a pencil for participating.
The following students will be receiving a certificate for being the student in their class who did the most facts over the 3 weeks:
Kindergarten – Della Garrity(294) and Fiona Lesuer (200)
Grade 1 – Emily Carpenter(787) and Arianna Pavone(277)
Grade 2 – Owen O’Neil (500), Isabelle Draper (268) and Miles Olson (268), and Simon Kulaki (297)
Grade 3 – Evelyn Butler (3,608) and Lillian Redfern (1,718)
Grade 4 – Lily Bear (1,745), Zachary Howe (1,037), and Emmi Michaud (1,820)
Because we made our school wide goal, we will be having a school wide pajama day on Thursday, April 6.
I am so proud of our Ohana and the determination they had to not only reach the goal, but smash it!!
Great job COUGARS!!!!
