Ross Round Up

Engage. Empower. Educate. Every Day.

October 21, 2022

Dear Parents,

Thanks for coming to Parent-Teacher Conferences and for visiting our Book Fair. We had such great conversations about how students are doing and how we can best support them together. And, thanks to the parents who signed up to bring food, we ate really well too!

While you were here, you may have seen the AVID posters around campus. AVID is our instructional model at Ross Elementary--check out the infograph below for what AVID looks like here.

If you'd like to find out more about AVID and help plan amazing events at Ross Elementary, come to the Parent Advisory Meeting on Thursday, October 27 from 3:45-4:45pm. Our Parent Advisory Committee works together and collaborates with PTA to plan events like the Jog-a-Thon, Popcorn Fridays, and our upcoming Waffles and WICOR event (date to be determined) which is focused on AVID strategies we use here at school that can also be used at home.

With love,

Principal Tripp
