Myers-Wilkins Wolf Tracks
May/June 2017 - Issue 8
Greetings!
We are at the end of the year. Our students have worked hard this year and have shown much growth. We are super proud of their progress and all they have accomplished this year. We are looking forward to the end of the year festivities that will be occurring. This includes Kindergarten Graduation June 2nd @ 1:00 p.m., 5th grade Graduation June 7th @ 12:45 p.m., Field Day June 8th, Reading/Math Family Night on May 18th from 5:00-6:00 p.m., and our annual Bike Rodeo on May 25th. Information on these events will be sent home shortly if it pertains to your child. Also ensure to check the attached calendar and look for information on many of the events.
As the days warm up and we get some wet weather please ensure to send your child in appropriate gear for the weather outside. If you need support with this please contact Laura or Seiquayia at ext. 2501. Also remember to check the lost and found if your child has lost a piece of clothing.
It has been a pleasure to get to know the students and families at Myers-Wilkins this school year as my first year as principal. I look forward to seeing everyone this next school year. To our fifth grade students and families we wish you the best of luck in the next chapter of your schooling. Remember once a wolf always a wolf.
Thank you for all you do for your child(ren) here at Myers-Wilkins. We appreciate your support.

Myers-Wilkins has a very active and inclusive parent group. We gave wrapped up our meetings for the school year. If you are looking to join, meetings will resume next school year starting in September. We look forward to welcoming new faces and hope our families have a relaxing and fun summer break. We also want to thank all the families who participated in PSAC this school year and were able to help volunteer for an event.
PSAC Fundraisier
M-W PSAC (Parent Staff Advisory Council) has partnered with eCycle Group to sell them empty inkjet and laser printer cartridges to earn funding for school supplies and activities. Depending on the success, PSAC has discussed new chairs in the main office as a possible purchase along with other beautification efforts to the campus to welcome children and their families to our school. The recycling program is FREE and easy, but it won’t work without your support.
Let’s make this fundraising program a huge success by working together to collect as many empty printer cartridges as we can! Please note: damaged cartridges will not be accepted by eCycle, so please place in the box carefully. You can donate your cartridges at the following location: Myers-Wilkins Main Office
Thank you in advance for your support!
