COMMUNITY SERVICES FOR FAMILIES PREVENTION & REFERRAL SERVICE
This new service comes out of the CARES Act and is meant to:
- Address some of the impacts that COVID-19 has had on families This service allows us to collaborate with school districts and connect with specified students and their families that may need additional support.
- Support from our service can come in the form of direct financial assistance and/or resources to various services or programs.
- This service qualifies for all school-age children (5yrs-17yrs) and their families
- A need’s assessment will be conducted with each family
- We will explore 5 Life Domains with each family: Family Life, Health, School/Childcare, Finances, and Relationships
- Based on the unique circumstances of each family we will tailor our direct financial assistance and resources to meet the needs of the family.
- This service is designed to relieve some of the financial strain that many families have been experiencing due to COVID-19.
Additionally, this service is designed to ensure that children have the resources they need to participate in school, whether that is virtually or a hybrid model.
This service will be in effect until December 30, 2020

Annual Family Information Form
Please fill out this Annual Family Information Form to increase our districts opportunity to receive local, state, and federal funding.
On a per student basis for districts like Oceanside, there is increased funding for large concentrations of low-income, English Language Learner and foster student populations. Therefore, we are required to establish and confirm the number of students that represent these categories by having families complete the official Annual Family Information Form.
SAT Test Center at Oceanside High School Update
