Salford Hills Generosity Overflows
We raised $96 for Hats On Day which supports the Character Counts Coalition of the Indian Valley.
In our first STARS Spirit Day, Dress in One Color, students raised $311.00 for the Playground Fund at EMC Elementary School. Due to recent renovation efforts at EMC, playground equipment was removed to make room for building construction. The Souderton School District does not budget for playground equipment therefore schools must raise funds on their own. In addition, the faculty at Salford Hills chose the EMC Playground Fund as one of two charities in Friday Jeans Day which we hold every Friday of the year. The staff raised $1,353. We're proud to partner with the EMC Home and School Association, hoping to provide safe and enjoyable playground equipment for their students. We present a check to EMC Principal Tamara Callahan at Friday's School Meeting.

Annual Angel Tree
With the approach of the holiday season comes the opportunity to give to those who may be less fortunate than we are. Salford Hills will continue our tradition of decorating a tree with angels. Each angel will have a number written on the front designating a child’s age. If you would like to participate in this project, please take an angel from the tree located in the main office lobby. Please sign out the angel in the main office.
You may choose an angel from the tree during conferences on November 19th, 20th and 21st. If you wish to choose an angel after this date, please contact the office.
