PTO
Although our January meeting was cancelled, you can still help us with the planning for our next big event, The Art Show & Silent Auction, which will be held during Parent Teacher Conferences in March. We hope to plan this exciting event at our next meeting, on Thursday, Feb. 4th. However, If you cannot make the meetings, but still want to express your ideas/concerns, please feel free to contact our PTO President Teil Mitchell at teilw43@hotmail.com, so that we can add them to our next meeting’s agenda. Also, if you would like to receive our emails and/or monthly newsletter, please email Shannon McCarty Nixon, our PTO secretary at Camden.braxton@gmail.com. Thank you!
READING CALENDAR
The Nightly Reading Record Sheet is an amazing way to make sure reading is a priority in your house. When your child returns any monthly reading calendar completely filled in, at any time, they will receive a fun book. If they complete 6 calendars in the school year, they will get to pick a book from our “library,” Ms. Kelly will read it to them, and then they get to take it home. The Record sheet can be found and printed here http://www.troy.k12.mo.us/domain/88

Reminders
- Please try to have your child to school on-time. When your student arrives late, it is disruptive to the entire class and your student is missing valuable instruction time. We do however understand there are circumstances that may arise from time to time.
- Tuition is due on the 1st of the month. Contact the office if you have tuition concerns.
- Lunch accounts need to always maintain a positive balance. Please check your child's account and make a payment if needed.
- We have FUN at school! Your child will get messy. Dress your child appropriately for the weather and also in clothes they can "play" in.
Early Out Wednesday for February
The ONLY early release day this month is February 10th. Bus rider leave at 11 and car riders at 12. No PM Session.
Snow make up day is February 15th so we WILL have school.
Snow Day Information
Please know that it is always YOUR decision whether to bring your child to school. We understand that you will make the best judgement for your own situation.
School closed, early release and late start are all options that the District may use. In the event of school being closed no classes will be held that day. If early release is used then bus riders will leave at 11 and car riders at 12 and no afternoon session. In the event of a late start, all AM classes will be canceled and the PM class will be in session at 1pm, full day students arrive at 12pm. Lunch will be served as normal.
It is possible that ECEC will need to adjust these times due to the timing of the weather, you will be notified as soon as possible.
