Failure rates...4th Six Weeks Ends (All grades- due Friday)
Teachers,
This week marks another end to a 6 week grading period. If you have the same classes with excessive failures, the interventions are not working or are not being implemented. Remember, if any of your class subjects has a failure rate which exceeds the district threshold of 10% or more, you will have to complete a Failure Intervention plan and meet with your evaluator weekly for support.
This 6 week period should result in a decrease of failures based on the interventions you have put in place. The goal is to see less failures this 6 weeks than the last 6 weeks.

Achieve 3000 (Grades 3-5)
Hello 3rd - 5th grade teams,
In order for the Achieve 3000 program to benefit students, we will help support you with the following requirements:
- Students complete 2 activities a week
- Students work to achieve 75% on multiple choice questions on the first try
- Teachers must log in at least 2 times a week
Also, you must determine if your students will complete 1 reading activity and 1 Social Studies or Science activity or both reading acti
Achieve 3000 will be a focus for us this week. This is an excellent program and will be a great addition to our instructional programs.
Thank you!
Reasoning Mind - Reminder!
The district's weekly goal for Reasoning Mind is 2 hours per week for grades 2-4. For those classrooms not meeting the goal, we will work with you to problem solve ways to meet the goal.
Just an fyi, Amelia Earhart far exceeded this goal in the Pinkston feeder pattern. The goal is 2 hours per week. Please be sure you are using this program for it's intended purpose.
