Eng-Camp 2016!

A Summer Gathering Hosted by ICTE

Please join us for a day of impromptu reflection and rejuvenation!

Come together with your English teacher people to plan your new year through casual conversations in an Ed-Camp format. The conversation schedule will be built together as the first event of the morning. Hickory Park will be provided for lunch, courtesy of ICTE. Dress casually and comfortably, and be prepared for rich dialogue and support as you think about the year ahead!

Bring ideas about what you'd like to discuss. Examples of possible conversations might be "Teaching Argument Writing Well," "Organizational Strategies in a 1:1 Workshop Classroom," and "How We Can Support Our Beginning Teachers." While we welcome a focus on technology, we really want to have good conversation about your English classroom. We will build the conversation schedule together at the beginning of the day, so if you have specific successes this year that would help others OR specific struggles you need to problem-solve, please come willing to facilitate a conversation.
