FALL In Love With Some Of These New OwlFeed Stories!!!
Hey Owls! I hope you have had a great first quarter of the 2021-22 school year and hope you have an even greater Fall Break (FINALLY!). While this quarter started off a little rocky for OwlFeed, I could not be any prouder of our reporters, editors, and media editors as so many of these roles are new for them. One of the most famous Halloween events of the year, “Halloween Horror Nights” has started in Orlando and Los Angeles and is even scarier than before.
This year is its 30th year being open and it will feature sinister scary zones, extreme haunted houses, and other terrifying attractions. Jack the Clown will also make his sinister comeback.

Agua Fria is a place of many outstanding and talented people with different aspirations, but for Oscar Gonzales he makes it clear what his heart is set on: simply running.
Oscar has been breaking and re-breaking his own school records throughout his storied career as an Owl. On September 25, Oscar broke his own school record again with a time of 15:54.9 in the 5K. This was seven seconds faster than the personal best he set just two weeks before.

China Restricts Gaming to Three Hours Per Week
The Chinese government recently made a rule for kids who are under the age of 18. They are prohibited from playing any type of online gaming during the week and can only play three hours on the weekend, which is one hour per day from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
It is also allowed to be the same on any of China’s public holidays.

The Sad Saga of Gabby Petito
Gabby Petito, a 22-year-old woman whose disappearance captured headlines all over the nation, had been declared missing since September 11 and was found dead on September 19.
She was found in the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. There is no cause of death as of now, but an autopsy was scheduled for September 21.

OPINION: China’s Restriction On Video Games
The rules that were placed not that long ago in China only allowed children under the age of 18 to play online games for one hour a day on the weekends. To be honest, I really don’t see the reason for this to be a rule in the first place. Sure, gaming addiction is a problem that should be dealt with, but for China to do this is really not necessary.
