Change in Day for Spirit Gear and Uniform Reminders!

Now that mass is on Mondays, we will be able to move Spirit Gear (including Seahawks gear in the Fall) to Fridays!! Parents have been asking about this so that they don't have to dig those uniforms back out on Fridays. So, beginning this week, it will be full uniforms for mass on Mondays (including sweaters), regular uniforms on Tuesday through Thursday, and Spirit Gear (with Pay2Dress once per month) on Fridays. Also, now that we are in November, this is just a reminder that shorts are no longer permitted (until the spring) as part of the uniform. Boots are allowed, but please make sure they are something that your child can run around in for recess or PE (without falling). Also, the leggings/tights are only to be used under skirts, not in lieu of navy blue pants. If you have more questions about the uniform, you can always locate it on our website under the Home/School Communication tab>>>Uniforms at: http://www.holyrosarybilingual.org/?page_id=361

Please make sure to write your child's name in their sweaters, sweatshirts, and jackets so that they can get returned to you if they get misplaced.

Don't Leave Children Alone!

We are having many students showing up late and parents just dropping them off outside. This is not a safe situation. If your child/ren is/are late, please park your car and walk them in to the front office to check them in. If, for example, the school was in lock down, your children would be left outside because the building would be locked. So, ALL children MUST be walked in to the school if they are late.

Also, as a reminder, being late should be a very occasional situation. If you are late by a few minutes quite often, please do your best to make changes so that you can arrive on time every morning. This means that children are in their classrooms by 8 am. Packing things up the night before can help speed things up in the morning. It is disruptive to your child's start to the day, as well as the rest of the class when they are late. As an example, a family of 3 children who is late, impacts those three children and three classrooms full of students. Thank you for your efforts on this and to all who routinely make it to school on time. It is much appreciated! As always, if there is an issue relating to this that we can assist with or need to be aware of, please do not hesitate to let us know.
