Cadet PRIDE
Our students focus on 5 areas throughout the school day to ensure they have a productive day. We call this Cadet PRIDE.
Students who show exceptional behavior in any of these areas can receive a shout-out from anyone on campus.
PREPARED--How ready are you?
RESPECT--How do you treat others and your school?
INTEGRITY--Who are you when nobody is looking?
DISCIPLINE--Are you following the rules?
EFFORT--Are you being your best self?
📣 Cadet PRIDE Shout Outs!
Jacob received a shout-out for Respect for helping out a classmate when they fell!
Gilberto received a shout-out for Effort for showing tremendous growth with Ms. Garcia!
Hadley received a shout-out for Effort for always doing her best with her lessons with Mrs. Wasson!
Jeremiah (not pictured) received a shout-out for Integrity for helping another student tie their shoes and holding their library books for them while in the hallway.
STAAR Information
As we get closer to STAAR, parents unfamiliar with the new STAAR Redesign should take the time to explore the changes. You can visit the TEA website on STAAR Redesign for more information. On this website, your student can take a practice test, and you have access to released test questions from previous years.
One of the biggest ways you can support your child with STAAR is by having them practice typing since they will be taking the STAAR online. TypeTastic is a free online typing program that your student can use while at home.
