Penn-Lincoln Families,

They say a picture is worth a thousand words - I hope the following pictures that show our love and dedication to reading as we celebrated Read Across America Day on March 2nd. Cafeteria News

Just like last school year, there will be no charge for Breakfast and Lunch for all students for the 2021-2022 School Year. However, it is very important for Penn-Lincoln's state and federal funding that parents complete the Free & Reduced Price Schools Meals Family Application. All families will receive the application in the mail or you can download a copy from the AASD website. All families are encouraged to complete the application, as the amount of federal funds Penn-Lincoln receives is directly tied to the number of qualifying families.

We will be continuing the Grab-n-Go Breakfast Program that was started last school year. Once students receive their Grab-n-Go breakfast, they will go directly to their homeroom teacher’s classroom and proceed to eat their breakfast. Students will receive the same amount of time to eat their breakfast in the classroom as they did in the cafeteria. The breakfast materials and trash, will be collected and removed from the room by the custodian immediately following breakfast.

Tardies and Early Dismissals

For Tardies: All parents/guardians will enter into the vestibule of the main office and sign the student in. The student will pick up a pass in the main office and report to their homeroom. Parents will not enter the building.

For early dismissals: All parents/ guardians will enter into the vestibule of the main office, sign the student out and remain in the vestibule. Parents will not enter the building.

Two-Hour Delays

Parents, please remember that when there is the need for a two-hour delay students will not be able to enter the building until 11:00 AM. Please make sure students are arriving at the school as close to 11:00 AM as possible. This will help to reduce their time outside in the cold and to reduce the chance of playing in the freshly fallen snow before school. Also, when there is a two-hour delay there is no breakfast provided as lunch for some students starts shortly after the 11:00 AM start of school. Please make sure that you check the local TV or radio stations, the district's webpage, or Facebook page, for up-to-date information about delays and cancellations.
