About Glenmart

Glenmart is Glendale's school store. It is run by a group of 5th grade students with the assistance of parent volunteers. The school store is a special addition to Glendale as the 5th graders learn about all that goes into running a small business. They learn about creating a business plan, inventory, marketing, counting money and counting change while also practicing their teamwork and leadership skills.

Each year, the 5th grade Glenmart employess and parent volunteers discuss how to use Glenmart profits. In previous years, they have provided extra recess equipment to classrooms and have donated a portion of their profits to R.O.C.K. (Reaching Our Community Kids, a local non-profit). In Spring, 2022, Glenmart was able to donate $1,000.00 to R.O.C.K. thanks to the support of Glendale students, parents and staff!

Glenmart will be open Friday mornings from 9:20-10:00. Students in grades 2-5 will be able to shop in person once a month while Kindergarten and 1st graders may submit an order form at any time and come pick up their items at the store on the days we're open!
