Media Center Minute @ GMS
The Monthly Library Media Center Newsletter
March 2015
Another shipment of new books has come in; almost 150 books came with this shipment. These should be ready to go when students come back from Spring Break!
A big thank you to all of the teachers who have let students come into their classrooms to record the Pledge of Allegiance and for allowing students to be anchors for the Grant News Network! I think the students who have participated have enjoyed representing GMS.
Words for Wednesday: Interview Segment of GNN
We are looking for willing participants. If any teachers/staff/administrators are interested, please contact me and we will set up a time to have a student interview you!

Grant News Network: Update
I hope everyone has had the opportunity to show their homeroom classes the morning video announcements.
Next year two encore classes will be offered that will allow students to take more ownership of these announcements. The announcements will be completely managed by students who will take on roles such as producer, director, editor, video editor, anchor, script-writer, etc.

QR Code Generator
Do you want to add QR codes to your assignments to make them more interactive? Is there a help or tutorial video that you want your students to access? A QR code is a convenient and easy way to show students images, videos, or websites. All a student has to do is scan the QR code with a QR code reader app on their phone or device.
