DAVIS HILL COMMUNITY UPDATE
November 26, 2018
I hope that everyone had an opportunity to spend some quality time with family and friends over the Thanksgiving Break. The holiday season can be a busy and stressful time for many families, so it is important that we are able to take time to acknowledge all that we are grateful for and enjoy the small things. Keeping the spirit of the season in mind- please see below for a collection that our Student Council has organized to help those in need.
Have a great week everyone!
Kindly,
Jay C. Norton, Principal
*Don't forget to read through the entire update... there are always more dates in the Upcoming Events Section. If you have any questions/ concerns- please don't hesitate to contact me/ the office.

Cold Weather/ Clothes Labeling
Please remember that we try to get the kids out for recess every day when the temperature is 20 degrees or above (We factor in wind chill and other safety precautions as well). This is true also if there is a slight drizzle/ mist. Please ensure that students are properly attired for the weather conditions.
In addition, we have a Lost and Found that fills up very quickly. We have a number of items that go unclaimed. Please make sure to label items whenever possible. This includes jackets/ sweatshirts/ water bottles/ lunch boxes/ hats/ gloves/ etc. Items that are labeled have a much greater percentage of being returned than those that are not.
Thank you!
