OTSEGO LOCAL SCHOOLS
Superintendent's Weekly Update - August 27th
Current Covid-19 Data
If we get a positive case in school any student identified within 3 ft will still be technically considered a close contact but can remain in school and participate in extracurriculars. You will receive a letter similar to last year. Again, the changes in quarantine rules will ALLOW them to remain in school and participate in extracurriculars because of our masking requirement. Last year we quarantined 625 students resulting in over 4,300 days of school missed and over 26,000 lost instructional hours.
