Teaching and Learning Corner
PSSA Reminders:
- Daily update of your classroom count-down calendar
- Integration of PSSA Do Now questions daily
- Teach scholars to use their tools (calculators, formula sheets, writer check-lists, etc)
Look For:
Instructional: Mini-Lessons: Modeling: In Ms. Tyler’s professional development on the keys to a successful mini-lesson she focused on 8 components. This week’s look for will focus specifically on modeling. Ensure to make your thinking visible to scholars by explaining how you came to the answer. In order to incorporate scholars, you may want to use choral response.
Cultural: Restorative: After our week with Marieke, consider how to incorporate components of the anti-bullying work from Wednesday’s Profession development into your circles. Please continue to blend the curriculum and issues that arise.
