Part 2
First Segment Name: Metro Rentes 68%
First Segment Characteristics:
Young, mobile, educated, or still in school, live alone or with a roommate in rented apartments or condos in the center of the city. Willing to take risks to get to the top of their professions. Most of their income goes for rent, fashion, and latest technology. Use cellphones and computers everyday for news, entertainment, shopping, and social media.
Second Segment Name: Young and Restless 25%
Second Segment Characteristics: Millennials and coming into our own. Young diverse, well educated, and are either finishing our classes or working in professional, sales, and office admin. Most of them rent and will move for a job. Live alone or share a place in densely populated areas of large metros in the South, West, and Midwest. Need cellphones, text listen to music, pay bills redeem coupons, get directions, and research financial info. No brand-loyal; shop for the best price. Buy natural/organic food, but will also for fast food.
Third Segment Name: Social Security Set 8%
Third Characteristics:
Live alone on low, fixed incomes in low-cost apartments in high-rise buildings near heavily-traveled urban business districts across the country. Even though it may be noisy, we enjoy the hustle and bustle of big-city life, and benefit from easy access to hospital, community centers, and public transportation. Dream of early retirement for many has been postponed; wages and salary provide income for those who are still working. Payments from Social Security Supplemental Security Income, and public assistance provide support for others.
Part 3
Plank:
More victims rights and harsher penalties for certain crimes
Rationale: (why would the people in your district want this to happen?)
Increase in security within the community and would allow the community to prosper with less crime. More people willing to leave their home and meet others.
2. Plank:
Increase access to higher education with savings accounts
Rationale:
29.63% of high school students receive their diploma in this district. Increasing the access to higher education and making it more affordable through providing savings accounts would potentially increase the percentage of students receiving their diploma, since the issue of going off to college is often limited by family income.
3. Plank:
Increase in youth groups and events
Rationale:
Giving the community more of a reason to come together builds trust amongst one another and so they can increase the percentage of having a safer community if more are involved.
4. Plank:
More simple access to medicine that is prescribed at lower rates
Rationale:
With targeting the senior community as well with their medicine they can become glad that they save more and the senior community is a big power player as well
