Town of Sunnyvale - Aug. 7, 2021
Harris Addition trash pick-up
Due to the construction for the Harris Addition Sewer and Alley Rehabilitation Project, residents living at the following addresses will need to place their trash and brush in front of their house (rather than in the alley), beginning Aug. 6:
- 200 - 224 Molina Dr. (even addresses only... 200, 202, 204, etc.)
- 201 - 219 Jobson Rd.
- 219 Tripp Rd.
- 295 Tripp Rd.
Notices were distributed by the Town's Public Works Department prior to the effective date. Additional notices will be sent when trash can be placed back in the alleyway.
We appreciate your patience throughout this project!
Police Department launches crime map
Sunnyvale Police Department is now using SpotCrime! SpotCrime is a public facing crime map and crime alert service. It collects relevant crime data from police agencies and validated sources to plot it on a Google map. SpotCrime also analyzes crime trends in your neighborhood and allows you to search for crime near any address.
Sunnyvale PD updates activity within the community to SpotCrime every Monday. Click here to check it out!
CERT holds final class
CERT held their second and final class on Saturday, July 31. Each attendee received a certificate of completion and a t-shirt.
The Town would like to thank Mike Ross and EastTex CERT for getting this project off of the ground. CERT has been in the works for quite some time and we are excited to see how it will benefit the community!
Additional opportunities to join CERT will be available in the future. In the mean time, sign up to be notified of the next available class!
