ILEARN TESTING BEGINS APRIL 19TH
ILEARN testing at CWMS begins on Tuesday, April 19 and runs through Friday, April 22.
- Students will test during the first two periods of each day. Students will then follow a modified schedule of all of their classes beginning at 9:40.
- Please ensure that your child gets a good night's sleep and eats a healthy breakfast each day.
- ALL students will need wired earbuds for a portion of the test, and should come prepared on April 19th with earbuds. Wireless or Bluetooth headphones or earbuds will not work for testing.
- Please ensure that your child brings his/her fully charged Chromebook, charger, and wired earbuds every day of testing. We appreciate your help with this!
6th grade students and students who are enrolled in Biology will take the Science portion of ILEARN in their Advisory classes on April 25 and 26.
If your child is absent for any portion of the ILEARN, we will administer a make-up test. The ILEARN window is open through May 13.
Career Day
Our annual Career Day will take place on Friday, May 6th in the Main Gym during Advisory classes. We are looking for volunteers to come in to share their career/professional experiences with our students. This event will take place from 10:50am-12:30pm if you are able to volunteer your time! The students really look forward to this as it is an opportunity for them to see what future careers are available to them.
If you are interested in participating, please contact Mrs. Doolin at kdoolin@cps.k12.in.us or (219) 663-2173, ext. 13103. We have also included a link to complete a Volunteer Release Form that would need to be completed by volunteers in advance of the event.
Autism Awareness
April is Autism awareness month, students will be participating in an educational Advisory lesson to promote inclusivity and social consciousness.

4.8.22 – Enthusiasm
Leaders inspire others with enthusiasm and a genuine ability to show passion for what they do. Rather than concentrating on the things that may not be going right, leaders focus on solutions to make things right and succeed. Leaders are willing to see the silver lining in every experience and have an optimistic attitude that does not entertain negativity. When people respect you as a person, they admire you. When they respect you as a friend, they love you. When they respect you as a leader, they follow you.
As always, let's make it a great day to be a Bulldog!
