Location & geography
Cyprus is located In the Middle East. It is a island in the Eastern-Basin of the Mediterranean Sea, south of turkey. It is the third largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Cyprus has huge mountains named the Troodos Mountains.
Not a Founder
Cyprus is not a founder of Europe, it only joined the European Union 1-5-2004.
Colony of Britain & Goverment Type
Yes, Cyprus was at one point from 1878-1960 a British colony. Afterwards it gained its independance. Now Cyprus has a Presidental System, and is a Constitutional Republic.
History of The Flag
This is Cyprus's flag, it includes an outline of the country and two olive branches. The olive branches represent peace.

Tombs of the Kings
The Tombs of the Kings is a pretty big necropolis lying around two kilometers. It is located around the Paphos harbour in Cyprus.
Cyprus Museum
The Cyprus Musemum stores and displays many of the arifacts found in Cyprus including artifacts from the Tomb of the Kings.
Coral Bay
The Coral Bay in Cyprus is a gorgeous and popular tourist resort which is located around the city of Paphos.

Curruently Cyprus uses EURO, but prior to that they used Cyprus pound and even before that they used Turkish Lira.
Micro Country
Cyprus is actually a micro country, which means that the land area is very small and also that the population is tiny, which in Cyprus is 1,141,166 people!
Love Godess
Cyprus is the mythical birthplace of the Greek love Godess, Aphrodite.
Wrong Way!!!
As oppose to what we have in the U.S.A. where traffic is always on the right side, in Cyprus traffic runs on the left!!!
