Backpack Food Program
Culver City Unified School District (CCUSD) believes that no child in our community should go hungry or have food insecurities, especially on weekends when students don’t have access to school-sponsored breakfast and lunch. The Culver City Council PTA, in conjunction with CCUSD, provides students in need with a backpack filled with non-perishable food and snacks each week to ensure that every child can eat on the weekends.
There is no cost to participate and enrollment is 100% confidential. Each week, filled backpacks will be available in the school’s main office. You or your child, simply pick up the backpack and take it home. Backpacks will not be returned each week; your student will receive a new backpack each week. Enrollment is ongoing so any child in need can sign up for the program at any time throughout the school year.
If you would like your student to receive a weekly backpack, sign up here: https://forms.gle/Afdf5QqgppsuYGQf7 or complete a form in your school office.

Assistant Principal Mr. Raber's Message
Mr. Raber here! Just wanted to reach out on our school website and start by extending my appreciation and gratitude for the warm welcome to Lin Howe. I have been learning so much about the amazing culture here at this school with our students, staff, and community. As some of you may know, my position as Assistant Principal is a split role between here and Farragut. That being said, I want to make sure that our community has access to my monthly support schedule. My goal in this role is to provide each school with consistency and predictability as I look to support all members of the community. Mr. Chabola and I have decided that a one week on, one week off model would be a good way to accomplish this goal. Below is my schedule for the next 5 weeks. At the bottom is each school’s contact, as well as my email. Please feel free to reach out at any time regardless of my location. I look forward to filling this very important role at Lin Howe and am excited to have students safely back to in person learning!
Warm Regards,
Mr. Raber
