Message From The Principal

We began this week with a full moon and ended it on Friday the 13th. Despite these superstitious omens of historically wild times for schools, it was another good and calm week at Fort Mill High School.

This week also saw the athletic program of our school highlighted on the state level. Our school received the Award of Excellence from the South Carolina High School League for exemplary display of sportsmanship, ethics, and integrity. Additionally, we were honored to be named one of only two schools throughout the entire state to receive the prestigious Excellence in Sportsmanship Award. This award is given in recognition of community service and sportsmanship on behalf of the players and coaches.

This is a tremendous reflection of the hard work, dedication, and exemplary conduct of our student-athletes and coaches. The honors also carried over to the leadership of our athletic program, where Coach Dwayne Hartsoe was named the Class 5A Region 3 Athletic Director of the Year.

We are truly proud of the accomplishments of our athletes and how well they represent our school to the community and the rest of the state.

Together We Swarm!
