Edgewood's Tiger Talk

January 11. 2018

Notes from the Principal

Morning Meeting is a fun and engaging way to start each day and build a strong sense of community. Each morning, students and teachers gather together to greet and welcome each other and set the tone for respectful learning. The structure of morning meeting encourages collaboration and prepares students for the learning ahead. Morning meeting is designed to support social, emotional, and academic learning. Morning meeting has four key components: greeting, sharing, activity and message. The pictures above show different aspects of morning meeting in action.
