CE2 Living Museum
Today our CE2 students presented their AIS Human Rights Hero Museum full of some famous, and not so famous, humanitarian leaders. CE2 students dressed in costumes which represented the leader and paused as statues until a visitor "woke" them up to engage and explore, speaking in either French, English, or Spanish. Along with this interactive experience, visitors could peruse the accompanying student projects about their heroes on display. A job well done to our CE2 students and teachers for this tremendous project!
Spirit Week & Bull Run!
What a fun show of school spirit and pride this week! And it culminated in a fantastic FUNd Run. We had a great time running with the bull this year! Thanks to our supporters all of our numerous volunteers (who we could not have done it without), our family sponsors: The Truchard, Horne/Waelbroeck, Hernandez/Cruz, De la Sierra Llorente, & Hernandez families, our staff and faculty, our warm-up crew: Ms. Leaf, Ms. Carr, the bull, and others, our families who helped and cheered, Ms. Natalia for all her prep work, and of course, our student runners who did such a great job! And thanks to our friendly TenBrink Bull for charging on. We will tally the laps and totals and will present more next week.
Re-enrollment Steps for the 2019-2020 school year
Re-enrollment is processed through your Parent's Web account. There are a few pre-steps for new students to AIS (even if you are a current family), like completing an application and providing additional information. Contact admissions to start the process for new incoming students. Here is the academic calendar and the tuition schedule. Please refer to the email sent out before the break with information about higher sibling discounts and other information.
To re-enroll, click on Parent's Web:
- Our district code is: ai-tx,
- Enter your user name & password (if you have your user name, you may reset a forgotten password)
- Start the enrollment process by clicking on Apply/Enroll on the left menu
- Then Enrollment/Reenrollment
- Follow the prompts till you see Start Enrollment packet for your student(s)
- Complete all the necessary steps, if something is required but not necessary (ex: student phone number for your PS student, simply put N/A)
- Make sure to go to FACTS, and then return to Parent's Web to complete the steps in your enrollment packet up until the final submit button. Each completed step will indicate a green checkmark and each incomplete step will have a yellow triangle.
For all those who completed enrollment during the early commitment period, the deposits and fees are due with registration, but monthly payment plans are extended from August to April of next year. (Please note, FACTS system defaults to a different payment schedule. AIS must adjust your schedule, apply sibling discounts and fees if applicable, and finalize on our end. Please allow a couple days of processing time due to volume and you will receive an updated schedule to reflect the early commitment plan.)
All those registering beginning tomorrow will fall on the June to February schedule, and registrations received after June 1st will have a condensed payment plan.
We hope this step helps with the process and any questions which may arise, but feel free to reach out with any questions. We are experiencing high volume and will answer as soon as we are able. Thank you. If you are unsure of your enrollment plans, for whatever reason, thanks for contacting us to let us know. We want to hear from you! Feel free to reach out to Mathilde or April.
