Thank you to everyone who attended Fire Safety Night and/or Science Center Coding Night! It was great to see so many of you this week! I say it often, but SELC families are AMAZING!

With just 18 days left of school year 2022-2023, I encourage you to continue to send your Eaglet to school, keep up with program and teacher updates, and ask ANY questions you have about the summer or next year! While it may feel like the end of the year, we still have A LOT of teaching and learning planned in PK!

A FEW REMINDERS

  • With warm weather upon us, be sure to send your Eaglet in (or with) sturdy playground shoes. Sandals are comfortable for the classroom, but can become a safety issue outside. Your child can always switch before heading outside and again after outdoor adventure.

  • Wednesday May 24th is an early release for Eaglets, NO SCHOOL FOR HEAD START STUDENTS (GUILE, FARNEY, SMITH, DEHORTA, LAMPRO, PRENTISS-SEE BELOW):

INTEGRATED PK: NO PM SESSIONS HELD

PK STEAM: DISMISSAL AT 12:30

  • NO SCHOOL MONDAY MAY 29TH

ATTENTION HEAD START FAMILIES!

Home visits or family partnership meetings are part of being enrolled in the Head Start Program. Head Start Program Performance Standards require all teachers to conduct 2 of these visits/meetings during the school year. That said, it is that time of year when teachers will be scheduling and completing these visits/meetings. What does that mean for Head Start classroom schedules?

Wednesday May 24: NO SCHOOL FOR HEAD START STUDENTS (Guile, Farney, Smith, DeHorta, Lampro, Prentiss AM)

Thursday May 25th: EARLY RELEASE FOR HEAD START STUDENTS (Guile, Farney, Smith, DeHorta, Lampro)

Friday May 26th: EARLY RELEASE FOR HEAD START STUDENTS (Guile, Farney, Smith, DeHorta, Lampro)

HAPPY 58TH BIRTHDAY, HEAD START!
