YEAR 7 2024 - ENROLMENTS NOW OPEN
We are now accepting completed enrolment application forms for students looking to enrol in Year 7, 2024. If you weren't able to attend our Open Afternoon, enrolment packages can be collected from the College Office.
Applications MUST be returned by Friday 31 March.
Once you hand in your application, you will be given a slip which will advise you how to book your interview which is the next step in the enrolment process.
2023 INTERSCHOOL MOUNTAIN BIKE COMPETITION
Our SBCC Mountain Bike Club was proud to represent our college at the 2023 Interschool Mountain Bike Competition in Thredbo this March. Over the 3 days our riders battled freezing temperatures, howling winds and mud to race against competitors from 300 schools around NSW and Victoria, 1400 competitors in total.
Our team was comprised of Cameron M, Abbey O, Dylan K and Bailey K and each gave 110% in each event. We faced technical issues, inclement weather, dust and mud but had an absolute blast doing it. It was such a privilege to be able to participate in such a massive event and we look forward to competing again in the 2024 Interschools next year with a larger representation.
If you are a bike rider and don't mind the challenge of riding off road then please see Mr O'Donnell. We'd love to have you on board.
Mrs Browns 10.1 Food Technology students has been enjoying themselves creating some delicious foods. Some of the foods developed were Banana and Cinnamon Toast, Butter Chicken and Rice and Chocolate Souffle.
8SCIR were learning about the digestive system and today they started putting together a stop-motion to display the pathway of food through the body.

Children's Crossing Now in Operation
When a children's crossing is operating, it's marked by red‑orange flags at both sides. When you see the flags, you must slow down and stop before the white stripes or 'Stop' line to give way to pedestrians. You must remain at a complete stop until all pedestrians have left the crossing.
How to log an absence in Compass
Please follow the steps below to explain absence/s (partial or whole day.) This must be done within 7 days of their absence.

Extended Leave Requests
If a student is having an absence of 3 days or more, a request should be sent to the Principal via email to info@sbccdow.catholic.edu.au
If a student is having an absence of 10 days or more an Application for Extended Leave must be completed and submitted to the office with a copy of the students itinerary.
A copy of the Application for Extended Leave can be found on your Compass. Click on the star icon and scroll down until you reach 'Application - Extended Leave.'
COVID - RAT Kits Available from the Front Office
St Benedict's Catholic College has a number of boxes remaining of RAT tests. If you wish to receive a box, we ask students to please go to the administration building and speak to Mrs Howlett on the student desk during recess and lunch ONLY.
Parents are welcome anytime during office hours to collect a box, Monday - Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm.

Items can be paid for and collected from the SBCC College Office. We do not return, exchange or refund on 2nd hand clothing as these are donated by families.
Donations of items in good condition can be left at the College Office.
