First Week of School

We have had a wonderful first week of school! This is my favorite week of the year watching all of our amazing students being back in their classrooms with eager faces ready to expand their knowledge, growth, and development over the course of the next school year!

With anything new, there are always questions that need to be answered. Please be reminded that my faculty and I are always readily available to help with any question that might need answered. Please do not ever hesitate to reach out to us.

Club 1708

We have distributed our Club 1708 brochures this week, which have all of our extracurricular offerings for this school year. Please make sure that you have seen this and had the opportunity to sign your child up for some of these activities.

These are a wonderful opportunity to put your child in extracurricular programs and activities without having to take any additional evening or weekend time from your family. All programs will begin in September.

Parking Lot

Please be reminded that the parking lot speed should never exceed 10 mph. We want to always ensure that all of our children are safe.

Also, please only park in designated parking areas. The fire lanes must never be blocked.

Mark Your Calendar

  • We would love to invite all of our grandparents to join us for a Grandparent's Day Breakfast on Friday, September 8th from 7:00-8:15 a.m. as we celebrate them for making a wonderful difference in the lives of our students.
  • We will be hosting a Back to School Dance for our 2nd - 6th Grade students on Friday, September 15th. Registration details will be sent home in the next week.

Differentiation

We will continue this school year ensuring that we are differentiating our lessons in order to meet the academic needs of each individual student. This is one of the things that sets us apart from other schools. For all of our students, we have continued assessments to evaluate the instructional needs.

We are excited to have been able to begin offering some of our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students online advanced math this school year. We have an online division in our company that is able to offer this differentiated programming. We have students taking classes up to algebra in 6th grade, so we are excited to keep them fully challenged!

Friday Ice Cream

Please be reminded that our 6th Grade students sell ice cream every Friday afternoon; 100% of the proceeds benefit their Washington D.C. class trip in the spring. They are selling ice cream passes this year, which are either $35 for the full school year or $20 per semester.

Ice cream passes can be purchased through the office with cash, check, or money order. We are unable to process ice cream through your account.
