WINKLER WEEKLY
Friday, October 23rd
MR. GRAHAM'S MESSAGE
Happy Friday Winkler Families!
The fall is flying by way too fast. As we mentioned a few weeks ago some traditional school activities look and feel differently. However, we continue to adapt and adjust. We can't say it enough, we are extremely happy to still be able to meet in person. Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do as families outside of school to make this happen.
Fall Conferences will be held on the afternoon of November 4th and the evening of November 5th. You should have received an email regarding Parent/Teacher conferences today. Conferences will be conducted virtually through Google Meet. After you schedule a conference through Skyward Family Access your child's teacher will email you information regarding your conference. We look forward to meeting with you!
We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend,
Joel
VIRTUAL PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES
It's time to sign up for Parent-Teacher Conferences. This year conferences will be VIRTUAL on November 4th and 5th. Parents/guardians will need to sign up for a specific 15-minute time slot on Skyward with their child’s teacher and participate in either a Google Meet or a phone conference. An email was sent to parents and guardians Friday morning opening conference sign-ups and instructions.
Please note: this is only for teachers and students who are in this building and not JEDI.

LICE CHECKS
Just a reminder to perform regular head lice checks on your child. Checking weekly or even daily is a good idea to catch it early in the event lice would be making a new home in your child’s hair. Sleep-overs, slumber parties, taking “selfies” with friends, and sharing hats or hair accessories have been determined to spread lice most often.
Please review the Burlington Area School District’s procedure for lice which can be found on the School Health Services website page: http://www.basd.k12.wi.us/health_services.cfm BASD follows recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics and National Association of School Nurses.TRANSPORTATION CHANGE?
