Principal's Message
Dear Yowell Families,
We have blinked and it is already December! Two and a half more weeks and we will be off to spend time with our families. To help keep us peppy and in the spirit, we will have weekly spirit days each Wednesday.
December 6 - Santa (red) vs. Grinch (green)
December 14 - Flannel vs. Festive
December 21 - Pajamas
Yowell will support the Culpeper Community Christmas Basket program by collecting non-perishable foods. These donations will be back into the community through this amazing program.
Lastly, thank you to all our generous families that adopted some of our students to make their holiday a little brighter. The Yowell Community takes care of each other and I feel fortunate to be part of it.

TWO former YOWELL Students are now PUBLISHED AUTHORS!
We want to share exciting news! Two former Yowell students, Lane Naccarato and Kendall Bopp are now published authors! Both authors are now 7th graders at Floyd T. Binns Middle School, however their similarities don't stop there! They both have little brothers named Easton who are still Yowell students and Kendall's mom is our very own beloved second grade teacher Mrs. Bopp! We are very proud of these authors and former stallions! If you are interested in purchasing their books, please follow the links below. Way to go, Kendall and Lane. We are very proud of you both!

making process for closing schools for inclement weather is complex with the safety of our students
and staff as our top priority. Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about weather closings/delays...
Transportation: Morning update document
In an effort to assist schools and parents with current information about bus changes, transportation has added a new item on their website called: Transportation - Morning Update. The direct link can be found here.
We will be posting departure times for buses each day to assist parents with receiving their child from the bus stop. Please check this document each afternoon.
