Differentiate WTW
An easy way to differentiate for word study/work work is to use the Words Their Way assessment, then group students according to their stage. I found this WTW grouping planner on the following website:
http://www.secondstorywindow.net/home/2014/06/a-teachers-guide-to-words-their-way.html
If you are looking for a way to differentiate using the sorts, this teacher site has some great ideas and, as always, Jenni is ready support you if you want to try this out. The WTW grouping planner will be housed in the Husmann Central Folder under Literacy Resources.
AESOP
Greetings from Frontline Technologies! In January, we started rolling out a new look for Aesop’s navigation menu bar, and next week (May 16-20) your district will also transition over to the new Aesop navigation.
Aesop will continue to work the same as before, only now, the main menu options will be along the left side of the screen instead of across the top. For a sneak-peek at the new navigation framework, you can check out the release notes here.
We're thrilled to have a consistent navigation experience for both district and school-level personnel moving forward, and we hope you enjoy the look and feel of the Aesop menu bar on the left side of the screen!
Field Trip and Lunches
I just wanted to remind you that we have the ability to make sack lunches, including a drink. We know we have students that eat lunch in the cafe, every day, for a reason. I thought I'd put that offer out there, should the need arise. A few of the schools in the district have several students order sack lunch for their field trips (mostly free/reduced students, but occasionally others). If you have students forget their sack lunch, or would just like to order one in advance, I'll be happy to have them ready before you need to board your buses. I hope all your field trips are fabulous!!
Boy, that clock ticks quickly this time of year, huh?!
