EECV Family Newsletter - March
3/1/21 News, Updates, and Information for our Families
Message from the Principal
Dear EECV Families,
Welcome Spring! As we begin the month of March we are thinking of warm weather and what new adventures are in store for our students at EECV. During March our Preschool students will participate in a VIRTUAL field trip to a Lorain County Metroparks location where they will meet and learn about a few local, live animals. We will also have school pictures for all of our students in March. In this newsletter you will find information about registration for next school year as well. Please read this section carefully to determine how this affects your child. Finally, find reminders from our school nurse on when to keep your child home if they are not feeling well and how to contact her.
As always, please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns that you believe I can help with.
Sincerely,
Jackie Plantner, Principal

Preschool/Kindergarten Registration for 21-22
Students planning to remain in Preschool at EECV must re-register for next school year. Spaces will fill up quickly so please do not delay. Registration paperwork will be sent home with your child based on your response to the 2021-2022 School year intent form. Please return forms as quickly as possible to hold your child's preschool spot. You may also receive a call from school secretary, Mrs. Bruening, if we have any questions about the program placement for your child. Feel free to call the office at any time to discuss your 21-22 school year plans for your preschooler.
If your student is transitioning from Preschool to Kindergarten you will receive information regarding this transition and any steps you may need to take. Students transitioning from Preschool to Kindergarten DO NOT need to complete new kindergarten registration.
Please recommend EECV to your friends and neighbors with Preschoolers!

Keep them home from school
Consider whether your child needs to see a healthcare provider.
Call EECV at (440) 284-8250 and report that your child will be absent. Request to be transferred to speak to Nurse Packman, or call her directly at (440) 284-8099 with any questions or concerns, or to determine when your child is ready to return to school.
