PGCE Spring 2016 Updates

Go Further with Teacher Training and Development

Year 1 and Year 2 Progress

We are coming towards our last modules of learning in both year 1 and year 2 cohorts- Year 1 students will be designing an online lesson embedding maths or English with a content of their choice. Year 2 students are wrapping up their action research with some choosing to showcase their learnings at READ:TLF event in June. Our last module takes us to the the Wider Professional Practice- linking current policy with organizational decisions and their curricular area. Both cohorts are benefiting from a host of guest speakers sharing with them knowledge and skills to widen their professional network and tool box. Come June we will have 25 year 2 students completing their PGCE and becoming identified as highly qualified.
