Three Blind Mice

The three blind mice robbed a bank, two got away but one was arrested. Robbery is a felony charge in the United States, where they did they crime. His bail was set for $10,000. The state made the one mouse a plea bargain that if he gave away where the other two mice were he would get a reduced sentence. He declined the plea. Luckily he posted bail. The court wrote him a subpoena for him to attend court weeks later. The defendant was unable to find a good lawyer, so the court gave him a public defender. We found a witness to the crime to testify against the said criminal. The prosecution took a couple weeks. When the verdict came out the judge announced that he was convicted of the crime and sentenced 7 years. He is still trying to appeal.
