Captain's Log
Relationships are critical. Let's take a trip back to our Ed. Psyc 101 class. We all learned about Bloom's cognitive domains to promote higher levels of thinking. We also were taught about Maslow's hierarchy of needs to understand student motivations. Strong positive relationships is the gateway to higher learning. Positive relationships are part of PCR-3's Principals of Learning as well as one of three focus areas of PCHS. If you have examples (or see other staff members) using relationships to motivate students to achieve more, please email myself, Shari, or Matt. We would love to capture and celebrate staff living our area of focus. There might even be an incentive! Via Email, please send us a pic, send us a note to show us the great things that are happening in the classrooms and on the field.

We are looking for one entry per PCR-3 building. A panel of judges will choose a first place, second place, and spirit award winner, with a $200, $100, and $50 respective prize going back to the building.
Please consider representing our building and promoting community involvement! If interested, contact Dr. Sayre!
