HELP SUPPORT FAMILIES OF THE UKRAINE - BRING IN DONATIONS THIS WEEK!
Please consider making a contribution to the Harris Hill Elementary collection for United for Ukraine sponsored by the United Way. United Way is stepping up to support those displaced by the violence, providing life-saving relief.
How can I give??
- A flyer is going out tomorrow to let families know students can bring in contributions all this week. There will be a container near the Main Office entry where students can add their donations. Please send in cash only - no checks or other items due to meeting the greatest need for support.
We will combine all funds from faculty, staff, students and families and let you know how much is raised to send on behalf of the Harris Hill community in support of people in the Ukraine. We appreciate your support and effort to support children who need our help at this difficult time in their country. Thank you Harris Hill Heroes and Leaders!!
School Pictures & Spirit Day - Friday, March 25th!
Those interested will be picked up from classrooms for the quick pic and process. We also wanted you to know it is HH Spirit Day on Friday as well, so if your student wants to change after their picture into some of their HH gear or colors, they will be able to do so! SMILE!!
NYS Testing Dates
Grades 3-8 NYS ELA and Math Assessments
We wanted to pass along a quick reminder that Grades 3-8 English Language Arts (ELA) and Math assessments will be coming up in a few weeks.
NYS Grades 3-4 ELA Assessment: T-W, March 29-30
NYS Grade 5 ELA Assessment: Th-F, Mar. 31- Apr. 1
NYS Grades 3-2 Math Assessment: April 27-28
Students in grades 3 and 4 will take paper-based assessments, and students in grades 5-8 will take computer-based tests. The required exams are ways for our students to “show off” what they know, and in the process, provide evidence that the learning experiences offered in Clarence continue to be among the best around.
