SPRING AHEAD!

Sunday, March 8th at 2:00 a.m., our clocks will spring ahead to 3:00 a.m. Daylight Savings Time. That means our students will need to get to bed a bit earlier to make up for that lost hour. See you early on Monday!

PARENT SURVEY

This year, our building was fortunate to receive a grant from Project Lead The Way and the Bemis Corporation to support our Project Lead the Way program in grades K-5. Included as part of the grant reporting process is a parent survey. Please take a moment to complete the survey. Responses are anonymous and information gathered from the survey will help to provide feedback to Project Lead the Way as they plan for the future.

DAVIS PRIMARY NEWS

A CELEBRATION OF LEARNING!

Thank you to all of our families who joined us for our Family Learning Night . . . all 710 of you! What a joy to see the confidence on our young learners’ faces as they shared their reading, writing, and math activities with their parents. From the comments we received, the parents loved the glimpse into their children’s school day and the celebration of the year’s learning.

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP

Safety is our #1 concern during times of Drop-Off and Pick-Up. Please do not double park. It is extremely dangerous for our little students to walk between cars when they can’t be seen.

Also, U-Turns are not allowed as is posted on our city street signs.

Thank you for making sure our students are safe.

BUS SAFETY

Remember, cars cannot pass buses when lights are flashing and/or the stop signs are out. Last week, we had several cars pass on the left side of the buses as they were turning into our circle drive.
