Timberview Middle School will partner with the Keller Community Storehouse and sponsor a Happy Hawk Giving Tree this year. If you are interested in adopting a Hawk, you can come to the Library of the school and select a Hawk off of the tree starting next week.
There are 3 different types of Hawks: toys, gift cards, & clothes. Right now in our own community there is a greater need than ever to assist in providing a joyful Holiday for children and their families. The Keller Community Storehouse is anticipating meeting the needs of around 4000 children. They are hoping to collect around 8000 gifts. Their greatest void during this time is items for pre-teens and teenagers. We are hoping to donate some gift cards that can be given as gifts to these children so they can select the items that they like. Other items that they will need to help assist in the holiday store is wrapping paper, tape, and 13 gallon white trash bags. If you would like to donate any of those items, you can drop them off in the TMS Counseling office.
The toys, clothes, & gift cards need to be returned to the school Counseling office unwrapped with the Hawk attached no later than, Monday, December 14. This can be such a special time for your family to help someone in our own community in need this holiday season.

The beginning of the year is the best time to buy your student a yearbook. The 2015-2016 yearbook staff is already hard at work taking pictures and saving memories from this first week of school. You can add items to the yearbook like your student’s name by going to www.yearbookforever.com where you can order your book using a credit card. If you would like to purchase the yearbook at school a yearbook flyer is available in the eMonday folder, http://bit.ly/1QLEE2B, and for pick-up in the TMS front office.

The Big Blue Bin- have you noticed that big blue bin behind the school next to the football field? If you didn't know, that bin collects shoes, clothing, linens, stuffed animals, all sorts of items you no longer want/need - they pay us per pound- all year long! Just drop off your unwanted items and put in the big blue bin, and please- tell your friends- this is a super easy way for the school to raise money!
"Liking" and "Sharing" on Facebook- One of the very easiest ways to help TMS is to simply "like" any post we put up on our TMS Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/timberviewpta?fref=ts the more "likes" and "shares" our posts get- the more other people will see the post and the more people who see it- the more people will be in the know and can help our school!
Deepest gratitude to everyone who has already spent time volunteering for our school- we sure do appreciate you so much! And thank you in advance to everyone for considering the above opportunities. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at Aubrey.firstname.lastname@example.org

We are so excited to be able to put on this flu drive again for Keller ISD! This is our third year to have this flu drive in our Keller clinic. The drive will be begin Nov. 1st and end Nov. 30th and will be held Monday-Friday from 3pm-9pm in the Urgent Care for Kids clinic in Keller. We are discounting the regular priced flu shots for Keller ISD: $5 for kids--$15 for staff and parents--$35 for flu mist (limited supply of the mist) and unfortunately, we cannot administer the shot to Medicaid patients. Cash pay patients will be in and out with less wait time but we accept all forms of payment. Please contact me if you have any questions at all. Again, we appreciate your help and support and really look before to seeing Keller ISD in our clinic!
Students are not allowed to carry medications in their backpacks or on them throughout the school day. All medication requires a form to be completed and medication will be given in the nurse’s clinic. Students may carry an inhaler if the physician signs paperwork and approves the child capable of administering the medication. Again there are forms to be completed and turned into the nurse’s office. The forms can be found at the following link in the eMonday folder, http://bit.ly/1VQCtgS. Please call Nurse Danielson with any questions or concerns at 817-744-2620.
