North Basketball Weekly Update
Big Region Win (Win Number 8) Over Osborne
Pack Gets Another Region Win 77 to 73 over Osborne (Win 8)
Chad Terrell played a all around terrific game scoring 29 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Chad also went 3-3 from the 3-point arch along with breaking the school scoring record for a season. Ethan Reid was explosive on both ends of the floor scoring 22 points and grabbing 7 rebounds. Ethan did a terrific job in response to every Osborne run. McCoy Etienne scored 14 points and had a brilliant defensive effort on the night. Gunner Williams added 8 points and 7 rebounds of his own to aid in the victory. I have never been more proud of a group young men for sticking with the process and trusting in one another especially during adversity.

Pack Drops a Close One to Marietta 49 to 40
We had another great defensive outing, but our inability to make the big plays in this contest really ailed us when trying to steal the momentum of the game late. Freshmen Luke Dabbelt continues to play great basketball playing with extreme confidence scoring 12 points on the night, while grabbing 4 rebounds. Chad Terrell also added 12 points on the night and grabbed 6 rebounds. We are playing good basketball at this critical stage in the season, we need to continue to get 1 % percent better daily as we continue to get better heading into the region tournament, which is just one week away. I love this group of kids and they are really coming together at the right time. Thanks for all your support, we travel to McEachern Tuesday to play the number 5 team in the state. We are really looking forward to the challenge.
Pack Loses to Hillgrove 51 to 44
Friday Night we went across town to play Hillgrove high school in a tough region matchup. Hillgrove had a great crowd with it being their
hoopcoming. Our fans did not disappoint as we traveled well as extreme support was shown. We came out of the gate playing with superb
execution on the defensive end early and making Hillgrove work for everything they got on the offensive end. We ended the first half up 32 to 28 with the game being played with our pace. Hillgrove came out in the third quarter and went on a 8-2 run to open the quarter. After a timeout we came out and settled back in on both ends of the floor. The game went back and fourth, but with 3 minutes left in the game we were down 42 to 43. Hillgrove made a 3 point basket with 2:24 left on the clock and we were unable to convert on the offensive end. We played a solid game on the defensive end and played with precision on the offensive end, we just were unable to make the big plays down the stretch to get us over the hump on the road. The final score was 51 to 44 in Hillgrove's favor.
Chad Terrell led us in scoring with 18 points and he added 7 rebounds on the night. Freshmen Luke Dabbelt had another solid game on both ends of the floor scoring 12 points and pulling down 4 rebounds. McCoy Etienne added 11 points on the night along with his 3 assists. Ethan Reid added 9 points, while doing a good job setting the table for our offensive pace. We will regroup and get ready for our next region contest.
