Staffing

We are delighted to welcome new members of staff to our school. Mrs Goodrick is working in Willow class on Wed - Thurs, and Mrs Pollard is a Mid-day Supervisor working every lunchtime.

Uniform

It is fabulous to see all the children looking so smart in their new uniforms. Can you please ensure that all uniform, lunchboxes and water bottles are clearly labelled.

Parking

Please remember to park considerately around the village. This is important in ensuring the safety of our children and families entering or leaving school. Sadly, it has been reported that cars are parking too close to the junction of Hungate Close or near the crossing at the school entrance, which creates a hazard for children crossing the road and contravenes the Highway Code. Please always remember to park safely and sensitively.

We are delighted that at the end of last term, our Eco Warriors achieved the Eco Schools Green Flag award. This is amazing! Look out for more news when our flag arrives later this term.

School Lunches

School Lunches

Please see the new Autumn Lunch menu below, including the new vegetarian option.


Children can decide daily whether they are having a school dinner or packed lunch.


Please ensure you discuss the menu each day with your child so they can decide what they would like to order. Once they know their choices, they will choose this each morning with their teacher during registration.


Each day there are now 4 choices, either the hot dinner, hot vegetarian option, jacket potato with a choice of toppings or a sandwich. The sandwich and jacket potato always come with a selection of vegetables/salad on the side and have the full pudding choice for that day.

From 8th September - 18th December 2021. This is our new menu for September - children now have a vegetarian option to choose from as well as a jacket potato or a sandwich.
