Introduction to Domestic Violence Awareness Month
The SAVE Peer Educators will hold a table in the Brower Student Center Atrium on October 2nd from 10 am - 1 pm. Stop by to pick up a calendar with our events for the month and participate in our Truth or Dare activity!

Purple Lights
For the entire month of October, all across campus and Alumni Grove, be on the look out for purple lights! Purple is the color of Domestic Violence Awareness month and we hope these lights encourage you to support our efforts to raise awareness!

Candlelight Vigil
Please join us on October 6th in Stud 202 E/W at 8:30 pm for a Candlelight Vigil to support victims and survivors of Domestic Violence. This vigil is held both in remembrance for those who lost their lives to Domestic Violence, as well as to provide an opportunity for victims and survivors to speak out against Domestic Violence.

Clothesline Project
From October 6th-October 10th, a clothesline will be displayed in the Library Atrium. Each shirt featured in the display is painted with words of encouragement and support for victims and survivors of Domestic Violence.
Event Information
Sixth Annual Women in The Movement Awards
The Women of Color Task Force of NJCBW present the Sixth Annual Women in The Movement Awards. There will be a special screening of the film "Crime after Crime" as well as a Q&A panel on Unjustly Incarcerated Domestic Violence Victims led by Dr. Janice Joseph of the Criminal Justice program at Stockton College. This is a free event and also offers free CEU's and lunch to all attendees.

Event Information
Many Faces of Domestic Violence
On October 28th, look for the various components of this awareness event to prompt conversations about Domestic Violence, including: simulated injuries, empty seat in the classroom placards, and a Die-In outside the Student Center representing all of those who have died at the hands of domestic violence. The SAVE PEs will hold a table in the Brower Student Center from 9 am-2 pm where you can pick up placards and receive a "simulated injury" face paint to raise awareness.
