Jag-Wire Weekly Parent Update, September 6, 2022

Pauline Central is on a Mission! - Design Update

In April our school community approved a bond issue that provides funds for a large-scale renovation of our school building. Our Building Design Team has been meeting regularly with architects from HTK and Lloyd Builders to plan and design our new addition.

This new addition will provide 6 new early childhood classrooms, upgrades to our current plumbing and HVAC systems, and heavy renovation of several key zones in the interior of the building. As the design process begins to take place, the anticipation and excitement for what this means for our school community is growing!

Next steps include awaiting final cost analysis to ensure that we are being as efficient as possible in our building design. Stay tuned....more updates coming soon!

Parent Information Night was a huge success!

Last week's Parent Information Night was a huge success! We welcomed approximately 40% of our families for an evening of learning what it is like to be a student at Pauline Central. We were able to offer childcare for the evening thanks to Volunteers from Washburn Rural High School. Our PC Kitchen team provided cookies for everyone to enjoy!

Restroom Expectations at School

Using the restroom independently at 5 or 6 years old is often a new experience for our students. Our staff takes student safety very seriously, and we spent time at the beginning of the year reviewing expectations for safe, respectful, and responsible behavior in our restrooms. Please take a minute to review these expectations with your child as well. Thank you for partnering with us to make our school the best it can be!
