Description
- The Special Education Academy provides educators with comprehensive training on crafting compliant and educationally meaningful IEPs, evaluation reports, progress reports, and other essential special education paperwork. In this three part series, participants will learn best practices for documenting student needs, crafting measurable goals tied to standards, outlining specialized services and accommodations, and writing reports that appropriately communicate student strengths and areas for growth. Attendees will engage in discussion focused on identifying essential components of key special education documents while receiving expert feedback. By the end of the session, educators will have a working knowledge of compliant Ohio special education documentation that drives student growth. The Special Education Academy aims to empower educators to serve the diverse learning needs of all students through accurate, thoughtful documentation. You do not need to attend every session. Please bring or have access to an ETR and IEP that you are responsible for to every session.
