From the High School Principal- Mark Kalvoda
Dear ESHS Parents/Guardians,
Welcome Back!!! We have greatly missed our students’ energy and excitement. Each summer, I reflect upon the previous year and try to envision the new school year unfolding. In short, our team is excited to kick off the year and eager for the return of our students. I am happy to report that Elkhorn South is fully staffed and we are ready to welcome approximately 1450 students to the high school. I am sincerely proud of what Elkhorn South collectively accomplished in recent years and believe that we have the collective confidence to overcome any challenges in our path. Our partnership with parents is integral to our success and I thank you for your continued support. I look forward to another great year in 2023-24!
Please join us for the annual Back to School Open House on Thursday, August 3rd from 12pm-6pm. PowerSchool online registration opens August 1, 2023. Please be looking for emails from the district the afternoon of July 28, 2023 regarding that process and please complete registration prior to Open House on August 3rd. The Open House is a great opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the building and take care of some of the back to school essentials prior to the start of the school year. *Please note that we will release course schedules to students only after their PowerSchool online registration is completed.
ClassLink is a resource that parents can use to access the Parent Portal in PowerSchool, R School, and School Payment Portal with just one login. The link to signup/login is https://launchpad.classlink.com/elkhorn

For the upcoming school year, EPS will again utilize an online registration system that will allow parents of K-12 students to log in and update information and complete all Back-to-School documents. As a reminder, to use this feature, parents/guardians will need to have a parent-access account in PowerSchool.
If you do not already have a parent-access account, please follow this link for directions on how to create an account. However, this is a preparation step, and you will not be able to complete the online registration process until July. An email will be sent on July 28, 2023 to the primary PowerSchool account email address when online registration is available.
If you have an account created but need to add additional students, please follow this link for directions on doing so: https://bit.ly/2wDNJuT.
