Hello Santana Families!
We are one week away from Spring Break, and the year is flying by! Thank you for reminding students to stay focused these last few days before we take our break, and then enjoy the well-earned time off! For our families that have students in Expanded Learning, please don't forget that we will not have Expanded Learning on Friday, 3/24. Thanks so much for helping us make sure your students are picked up in time!
PLEASE NOTE: THE LAST DAY TO ORDER A YEARBOOK IS MARCH 23rd! Please see the details below about ordering your yearbook so you don't miss out!
Thank you for your flexibility with canceling the Spring Carnival! The rain brought many things to our campus, including low ticket sales. Our ASB has been working so hard to plan this fun event, and we just want to make sure that everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy the event! More information will come home soon about the reschedule date!
After we return from Spring Break, our campus will be in full "Do Your Best On The Test" mode! SBAC testing will be here before we know it, and we want to make sure that everyone is well prepared to do just that. Stay tuned for more information about how to best support your students with state testing!
Don't miss our Battle of the Bands concert! See information below. You won't want to miss this one!
Parents, if you would like to get involved around campus, please consider reading about opportunities through PTSA down below. We need help, and would love any support you can give us! (Details about PTSA opportunities below.)
If you need help finding our calendar, here it is, and here is our bell schedule!

GET YOUR YEARBOOK NOW!
If you are not sure if you have already purchased a yearbook, we will have a list posted next week. Look for your student ID # on the list; if you see your student ID #, then you have purchased one! The list will be posted near the student door to the main office. If you have any questions, please talk with someone in the office.
Make the yearbook even more special for your student. A yearbook ad is a loving tribute to your student, personalized with your own sentimental message and a cherished photo, or photo collage. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’ll last forever. We will have more information and order forms in our front office.
⅛ Page - $30

Deadline is March 23rd, so don't miss out! For any questions please contact our Yearbook advisor Mr. Chiang, at email@example.com.
We are still working on the planning of our upcoming assessment season and the different way we are doing state testing this year. Our testing will occur the week of May 15th and will include a modified schedule. Each student (through their parents) will need to select a testing shift that they will attend from Monday, May 15th to Thursday, May 18th .
Please follow the steps below to select a testing shift for your student.
- Watch the video to help you better understand the testing week at Santiago.
- Fill out the survey selecting a testing shift for your student. Please remember each student needs a separate survey submission so if you have multiple students with us, please submit that quantity of times. The survey is DUE by Friday, January 27 so we can start the next phase in planning.
Thank you for always being great!
We have many opportunities for parents to volunteer through PTSA sponsored events. Please consider helping wherever you can! We appreciate any time you can spare.
