Zero Discrimination Day - March 1st
Zero Discrimination Day highlights how people can become informed about and promote inclusion, compassion, peace and, above all, a movement for change. Zero Discrimination Day is helping to create a global movement of solidarity to end all forms of discrimination.
International Women's Day - March 8th
Celebrate women's achievement. Raise awareness against bias. Take action for equity.
Social-Emotional Learning Classroom lessons for March!
In honor of being inclusive, showing compassion, and celebrating the differences that make us unique, Family Support Services will be offering 30-minute classroom lessons on diversity; teaching students about the importance of accepting ourselves and others!
This lesson will include topics such as self-confidence, self-esteem, self-awareness, compassion, and acknowledging & respecting differences.
Let’s talk about what makes you, and those around us, unique and special!




We are committed to connecting and empowering girls in San Diego County through providing leadership programs, increasing awareness/education, and hosting empowerment events which increase self-esteem & confidence.



Participants will be able to access new ways to connect with kids, parenting tips & tricks, employment services, legal resources, resource referrals, scholarships for career advancement, training, and/or general support assistance, and more!

Students will get to explore local culture through on-site workshops and activities provided by local artists and professionals. Program Specifics: M-F after school until 4:30 p.m., students ages 8-11, starts March 14th, register by March 10th!


Registration will close on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 7 am ***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the online platform called Zoom. The link to attend this class will be provided at registration.
