September 22, 2015

CKS eighth graders spent the day Friday helping various community service organizations. Arbor Youth Services, Fayette County Preschool, God's Net, God's Pantry, Hope Lodge, Ronald McDonald House and Seedleaf opened their arms to allow our students to help out. Students, teachers, and mentors agree: It was a fabulous experience!

Tuesday, October 6th, will be an early dismissal day and the first data day for our teachers. This will be an opportunity for the teachers to meet as groups to analyze MAP testing data and make instructional decisions for students in their classrooms.

Fall Conferences will be held Monday & Tuesday, October 12 & 13. Sign-ups will be offered soon. Middle school students are expected to attend and lead their conferences.

Fall break will be Thursday & Friday, October 15 &16. School will also not be in session October 19th, when teachers will be attending the Diocesan in-service.
UK Constitution Day 2015

Members of the CKS choir (5th - 8th) recently sang for the Constitution Day celebration at UK. The choir sang "America" in three-part harmony. Enjoy the video, above.
