ILLs? Are the books sick?

Inter-Library Loans

The books aren't sick, they're just borrowed from other campuses. Librarians do this all the time and are happy to share their resources with others. So how does this work?

  • Search iBistro for the title you want to make sure AISD owns it;
  • provide your librarian with title, author, format (book, DVD, etc.), language, date you'd like to have it, and for how long you'll need it; and
  • give the Librarians a week for school mail to work its magic!

When you're done with the book, return it to your campus library and your Librarian will get it back to the lending library.
