Final Stretch

The days are getting longer and the weather is getting warmer. It is a sign that summer is right around the corner. As the evenings get longer and other activities begin to creep into the students' lives, I can't emphasize enough the importance of finishing strong. We are nearing the finish line of the school year and it is easy for the students to see the finish line and want to ease up. To not study for the test or complete that assignment. I can't stress enough that this is the time to focus and put in that final effort. No one wants to get passed just at the finish line, much like no one wants to work hard all year only to make a failing grade the last marking period. Please try and keep routines as close to normal as possible as we near the end of the school year.

As we transition to the end of the school year, I must say that I am extremely proud of our teachers, staff, and students this year. We encountered a year like one no one has ever seen. We have experienced changing guidelines, changing instructional models, and quarantining. This year has taught me that we are all very resilient and can bounce back from hard times and still cross the finish line. While I am hopeful that we won't have to repeat a year like this, I have the utmost confidence that we will be able to tackle what challenges come in the future.

I want to thank you all patience, flexibility and support!
